In April this year, I was fortunate enough to spend the day in Sydney before departing on a cruise the next day. I have always been somewhat captivated by the idea of ferries as a mode of public transport. Especially being from Victoria as we don’t have any ferry services that are useful for the purpose of commuting.

My interest in ferries is one that started at a young age. My earliest memory is of a family holiday to Sydney when I was about 8 or 9, I remember riding the ferry across to Taronga Zoo. I also remember taking a Rivercat ferry down to Parramatta on the way back to our accommodation (A holiday park in parklea)
